Just keeping track of all the bills that need to be paid and then going to pay them is quite an inconvenience at best and a terrible time taking activity for the common people at worst. This problem was quite acute some time ago when people would have to stand in long queues and deal with noncooperative staffers just to pay the bills for their necessities. This is no longer the case with the coming of things like the BBPS portal and various bill pay app that are centralized, integrated platforms where the consumer can easily pay all their bills using various money transfer and point-of-sale methods.
